It's About Faith, Family, and Business

All day long, and from every conceivable angle, the world speaks it’s “wisdom” to us and tries to mold and shape us.

The noise is constant, sometimes subtle and seductive, other times loud and obnoxious.

But in times of quiet the truth speaks.….

“Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”” 1Cor. 3:18–20

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.” Proverbs 3:5 & 6

“For You (God) created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother’s womb.

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in Your book
before one of them came to be.

How precious to me are Your thoughts, God!
How vast is the sum of them!” Proverbs 139: 13–17

The Challenge

The challenge is to slow down enough to allow the quiet times to happen, and to listen!

Slow down, get outside, look at the sky, breath deep and take in the beauty around you. And know that this was created for your enjoyment by someone who loves you.

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts”!

That is my personal prayer for everyone who reads this.
